Hey, it seems like yesterday that Hive was born from the sick branch of Steem, and look how much progress and improvements have been made in just over 1000 days! A Hard Fork made necessary by the wicked conduct of a certain character who believed he could buy a free community with his money. What a beating Mr. Tron has taken!

The community has been resilient, believing from the beginning that freedom is an insurmountable principle and led by an incredible team of developers, we have started an exciting new chapter of decentralization. The launch of new projects on Hive demonstrates that the work done so far is on the right track and the creation of the Hive Application Framework is another step forward in attracting more developers.

3 years may seem like a long time yet the passion with which the community continues to support the ecosystem on a daily basis is incredible. It's a coincidence but Hive was born in a difficult historical period such as the pandemic, in those weeks in which many like me experienced the lockdown and here on Hive we shared our fears and hopes, our recipes. For example, I learned how to create handcrafted masks, in a time when they were scarce, precisely from some posts published.

Sharing is the great strength of a group like ours.

What awaits us in the coming years?

There are many roads and they all lead to success. Hive is building bridges to capture the attention of those new to the community. We are still a niche in the crypto world but we are building the foundation for our bridges with everything else.

I have no certainty that Hive will certainly be successful. There are many independent variables and this applies somewhat to the whole sector. But after 3 years we are still here, more united than before. And this is the best basis for success. Happy Birthday Hivers!

Ehi, sembra ieri che Hive è nata dal ramo malato di Steem, e guarda un po' quanti progressi e miglioramenti sono stati fatti in poco più di 1000 giorni! Un Hard Fork reso necessario da una condotta scellerato di un certo personaggio che credeva di poter comprare una comunità libera con i suoi soldi. Che batosta ha preso signor Tron!

La comunità è stata resiliente, ha creduto fino sin dall'inizio che la libertà fosse un principio invalicabile e guidata da un team di sviluppatori incredibili, abbiamo iniziato un nuovo ed entusiasmante capitolo della decentralizzazione. Il lancio di nuovi progetti su Hive è la dimostrazione di quanto il lavoro svolto finora sia la strada giusta e la creazione di Hive Application Framework rappresenta un ulteriore passo in avanti per richiamare più sviluppatori.

3 anni possono sembrare tanti eppure la passione con cui quotidianamente la comunità continua a sostenere l'ecosistema è incredibile. È un caso ma Hive nasce in un periodo storico difficile come la pandemia, in quelle settimane in cui molti come me hanno vissuto il lockdown e qui su Hive abbiamo condiviso le nostre paure e speranze, le nostre ricette. Ad esempio ho imparato a creare le mascherine artigianali, in un periodo in cui scarseggiavano, proprio da alcuni post pubblicati.

La condivisione è la grande forza di un gruppo come il nostro.

Cosa ci aspetta nei prossimi anni?

Le strade sono molteplici e tutte conducono al successo. Hive sta costruendo ponti per catturare l'attenzione di chi ancora non conosce la comunità. Siamo ancora una nicchia nel mondo crypto ma stiamo costruendo le basi per i nostri ponti con tutto il resto.

Non ho la certezza che Hive avrà certamente successo. Le variabili indipendenti sono molteplici e vale un po' per tutto il settore. Ma dopo 3 anni noi siamo ancora qui, più uniti di prima. E questo è la migliore base verso il successo. Buon compleanno Hivers!
