Gender equality is principal right of a human. A woman has a legal right to live in dignity and freedom. The word gender describes the socially-constructed roles and responsibilities that society consider appropriate for men and women. Gender equality explains men and women should be given equal rights, power, equal opportunities, equal education, equal financial independence and personal development to thrive in the society.

Economic growth is vigorous and sustainable when men and women work equally in labour market. Better jobs and employment opportunities for women leads to ways to spend money on households and in nutrition, health and education of children. Companies that give opportunities to women gain good competitive advantage in the market. Empowering women is also an absolutely necessary tool for prosperity of a society. Empowered women contributes to the health and productivity of communities and societies and improved prospects for upcoming generations. Women's empowerment is critical part of attaining gender equality. It includes increasing a woman's sense of self worth, decision making power, access to opportunities, power and control over her life and her ability to effect the change.

Why are societies lacking to give due rights to women?
For decades, the misunderstanding for women as weaker sex is main reason because you would not like your future's reins to be handled by a weaker person. Other reasons like misconceive of religion, illiteracy, economic dependence on men, feudalism, low representation of women in politics and policy making sectors and slow growth of private sectors.

STEPS TO CURB INJUSTICE WITH WOMEN RIGHTS According to one of my favorite quotation "Education is key to success" and we have been witnesses that country sides are lacking proper education, proper steps are must to aware people about women education not only in cities but in villages as well. Other steps like job quota for women, more representation of women in policy making sectors, appointing female judges to cope with women issues and pro-active role of mass media and NGOs should be taken.

Even though Gender equality and women empowerment is encouraged in every religion yet our society lacks in giving due rights to women. Women empowerment will boost not only women confidence but growth of a entire nation. The economic and social values would growth with the Esurance of women empowerment. Women are essential part of society even more essential than men and hence they should be given due rights for prosperity of a nation.
