Online education has grown significantly over the past few years specially after the pandemic. Covid-19 has made people to look for options which are reliable during lockdown situation because education is something you would not like to leave behind or give a pause to it. Also, online education has made things easy for students to cope up with the busy or unmanageable schedule.

Before deciding on which one is better lets weigh pros and cons of each.

Advantages of Online Education

Flexibility: online education has made study really easy for students who live far from home and are committed to other works and because of online they can study and hang with their family and cope up with work simultaneously. Commodity those who can not afford private hostels or hotels can easily study at home. Time and cost-effective: in traditional education, the student must be present in the classroom for every lesson. So they need to commute from one place to the other and that is time and cost consuming. In online education, these expenses disappear and there’s no need to waste resources.

Disadvantages of Online Education Social Interaction: Although online education has made study easy but the social life of the students have affected also. Internet issues: In urban areas the internet is available but in remote areas the internet services are lacking which is causing demotivation and disturbance for the students. Technological use and Technological equipment In remote areas lack of awareness to the latest equipment and technology cause both students and teachers more time to understand and handle. Affects of practical and experimental work
Distraction During online classes student distract very easily which prevent them to catch all the necessary information.

While traditional education remains as always it was. There may be users which love online education whose work and study is on computers even though in traditional physical classes like students of IT, Computer Science, Software engineers and etc. Majority of the students still loves to study in traditional way because their work and tasks are dependent on experiments and practical.
Take an example of an engineer who works on field and understands and learns every technique of site, how will he learn those techniques from online. OR a medical student who learn surgery techniques will it be feasible to learn from online? the answer is no.
