Welcome back dear traders and investors!

In this -so beloved- opportunity we will be talking about one of the most interesting and prominent philosophies of ancient times, Stoicism, driven by a cold, strategic, balanced and methodical personality, however, through such connotation we will be able to anchor this wonderful philosophy of life with trading and the world of investments.

The Stoic current is a deep thought about different internal and external virtues, some of the practitioners of this philosophy are usually quite calm when it comes to managing risks, but, together, this calm is born from a powerful adage "nothing is to die for, not even, what is really to die for" in addition to a continually quoted phrase:

"I influence what I can control, if I cannot control it, much less will I influence"

The 7 Laws of Stoicism:

1. Meditate on thinking, what you do and what you don't do

The Stoics believed that meditation was peace of mind and thought, so many of them recommended in their various exercises enjoying silence, listening to nature and reflecting on our actions.

2. New day, new beginning

Brothers, you put aside the worry of tomorrow that only torments your mind, you spend your time in what we can change, improve and influence. The past was erased, the future has not arrived, the only thing we have -and at this moment there is plenty of it- is the present; a new day is an opportunity, it is achievement and together it is an expectation.

3. Keep in mind where you want to go, life will teach you how

"If a person does not know to which port he is sailing, no wind is favorable" Its necessary to know with greater pleasure where we are going, without ever forgetting where we come from. The cause does not justify the means, but knowing where I should go, or what I should do is a blessing. Each person fights a war against himself for this thought, very few are winners.

4. There is a time for everything

And how could there not be? time is relative -everyone knows it- everyone decides what to do with it, we should not criticize anyone other than ourselves, if we actually waste time or do not invest it, in the end it is the cross that we will have to carry throughout life. It should be noted that the Stoics believed in the criticism "Ad primun hominem" that is, of me for me and not of our opinion for the world, "everyone is free to do their will as long as it does not affect me."

5. You are where you should be

This law is subjective and can be interpreted in many ways. We can read it as a question or interrogation "are you where you should be?" or we can contextualize it from another perspective "I am where I should be, at the most appropriate moment" such thoughts are perhaps one of the most sacred and important cleansings for the intellect.

6. Be authentic

Brothers, the world is tired of similar faces, life, destiny, existence needs new people, rejuvenated, authentic, not plagiarized. The Stoic in addition to being wise and calculating, is also someone authentic and it is said that you will never find two Stoics with the same method or mode of thought.

7. Accept death, not as an end, but as a new beginning

Death is also a fragment that can be interpreted in various senses, starting with the renewal of being and thinking. Together, death is the safe destiny for everyone since we are born, I refer to tests that in this scenario, -for the stoic- losing in an investment is a fairly probable and safe reality so you do not spend your life denying it like a buffoon, but, accepting its truthfulness.
