Whilst we all watch BTC and LEO continue to make new highs, this feels like a good time to get involved in the latest initiative by @theycallmedan and @leofinance. Details and the questions posed in relation to your #financialgoals2021 can be found here.

Tl;dr - Be more like @purepinay!

And no, I don't mean ordering a lamp built on 3 unfinished games of Jenga, or tearing holes in my (already slightly holey) jeans. Just a few days into 2021, and she's made a million, of something at least! (Well done!)

Be more like [purepinay](https://peakd.com/hive-148441/@purepinay/happy-new-year-thank-you-2021-for-making-me-a-millionaire) in 2021!

For most of us, a million dollars, pounds, euros, is pie in the sky thinking, but it's nice to have some targets. Hey, if HIVE hits the STEEM high of $8.30, I'll have about a million $ worth of HIVE, likely all vested - good on paper, not so good in the shops. Anyway, question and answer time...

Which is going to be your investment strategy for 2021?

Dump some HIVE and LEO before the taxman in Spain comes into play. I should, but it's unlikely I will do that before April this year, which is when I hope to switch from UK to Spanish taxation. The UK has a rather generous £12300 Capital Gains allowance in the current tax year, and so it could make sense to offload some crypto before then. Like the ones in profit - see, I told you it wouldn't be HIVE :)

Do you have any specific assets that you want to invest in?

I do, and it would be some bricks of my own. For this to happen though I need to 1) Ensure I am legal here in Spain by way of residence and tax purposes (in progress), and 2) Save up a deposit, and 10% of the value of a property as a 'thank you for the sunshine ahead' to the Spanish government, who want around that percentage just for buying your first home. No wonder so many expats and younger Spanish nationals rent - in the UK, this 'stamp duty' is currently 0 for first-time buyers, but that's not where I want to be.

Preferred Investment? Crypto, Real Estate, Commodities, Stocks?

Sold my 2kg of Silver recently for small profit. No plans to buy any metals again, they are 20th century business IMO.

I have a couple of stocks, massively down, but showing some signs of revival at present. If/when they breakeven, I'll be selling and not getting involved. I have a private pension playing that game, hopefully better than I.

I spoke about getting a property previously, not really as an investment for myself, but perhaps for my daughter. It would be sweet to leave her a place in Spain.

Crypto is my preferred investment to turn money into more money. Writing, curating, delegating, loaning, trading, gifting, and more. We are in the right space, and I keep hearing it's still early days.

Do you have a plan or a set of goals on how to use and grow your stake?

This feels like a Hive chain related question, and so I'll just say, likely the same as I have been doing for the past 4 years.

  • Thou shalt not create undercover alts to post shite and self-vote when the price goes up

  • Don't be greedy

  • Don't be a dick

  • Take part in the new stuff, even if it turns out to be a dud (hi Drugwars)

  • Delegate to curation projects

  • Throw a little bit on dlease

  • Continue playing the mighty @splinterlands

  • Write some posts and be thankful for the support

Share your prediction for the price of Hive and LEO in 2021.

I've read a few of the posts under the #financialgoals2021 tag and the HIVE predictions are not so uplifting. So, I'm going to go the other way and suggest that when the Institutions have finished pumping the big 3 and the early investors are unable to resist 100k BTC, 5K ETH, 500$ LTC, they will slice their bags and start playing with the Alts.

$2 HIVE, based on not a lot $2 LEO, based on loose 5k ETH prediction

And at those prices, my goal of some property will be in sight, if I can dump some tokens in time :)

Cheers

Asher
