The great reset is what they call this world crisis, which impacted both the financial and social aspects of our lives, and to describe it in one word I'd say it's constrictive. Just like a phyton.

Many have lost their jobs due to the absurd restrictions the governments have imposed, small businesses especially in the hospitality sector are down, Greece being a good/bad example for this matter, while the over all buying power has decreased.

I am unemployed for more than three years, at will, but I have a collaboration on a small boat cruises business that lasted for two seasons now, usually getting me involved from spring till autumn of every year with this. It's an almost all day everyday thing and was providing pretty good.

In 2019 when I actually started, after sitting on the lines and spending money I've earned years before, the touristic season actually began in late April for me and we've had our last cruise sometimes at the beginning of October which made for about five full months. Not bad I'd say, but not the best income either. Same as in crypto, you have to know how to manage your funds during winter time.

This year however, we could only begin in early July, due to hard restrictions, and got out of business at the beginning of October. Taking out two weeks when the boat experienced some engine problems, I can say that I had 2.5 months of full income from this thing.

I can't complain too much, the number of tourists has outperformed what we have had in 2019, due to traveling restrictions to other countries, but we only had 2.5 months to make the most of what we could earn. Going through the winter with summer made money is basically impossible, hence I can say that the Covid-19 pandemic has really screwed my finance.

Miraculously, although being in close contact with probably over ten thousand people over the summer, I haven't contacted the damn virus, and my health hasn't been affected, but my budget is... Had I followed my plan and move to other European country, I'd probably be back in no time, if that would be even possible.

Work offering in here is weak, and even my friends who own businesses in other large cities can barely survive, so not much perspective. Thank God for this blogging thing though, that makes possible to pay some bills with content creating money. It's not much, but it's handy.

Conclusion: personally this pandemic has affected my finances, and tbh really really hope for an epic altcoin season in 2021 so I can finally say that I even got to break through some personal finance resistances. What about you, has this pandemic affected you financially in any way?

Thanks for attention, Adrian
