We have quite a bullish day, and past week, for HIVE and LEO, both cryptocurrencies of the Hive blockchain performing outstanding I'd say. HIVE seems to outperform LEO in terms of growth in price over the past week, but considering each and one of us is earning both HIVE and LEO by content creation and curating there's nothing to complain about, but to celebrate.

I just watched @khaleelkazi talk with @rollandthomas and @nealmcspadden in regards of the launch of project blank and I'm as highly excited about that launch as they are. I'm probably rivaling Khal on the excitement level 😁. I've been a content creator on this blockchain for three years putting out tons of posts through my blog, some good, some not....

I have quite a few times advocated the importance of shitposting on Hive, which @trumpan is a master of doing it with high class I'd say, and always considered that shitposting should have its respectable place on the platform, along with blog types of posts. I have been an active user of #facesofhive which tried to replicate instagram and even had my own community on Hive, namely #hiveonthego through which I had my share of shitposting.

For everyone out there who doesn't know what shitposting is, it's actually short form content, similar to tweets and instagram posts. Nothing against that on Hive, as long as the game is not abused. Recalling the glory days of Steem, especially during the bull marker peak, there was a lot of spam on the chain back then and honestly wouldn't like that to repeat on Hive.

When I first read about the microblogging app that's supposed to be launched in the beginning of March, I thought that being created by Leofinance's Khal and his team, and wearing the Leofinance badge, it's supposed to be some sort of crypto twitter, where the content being put out by us would be finance and crypto related.

After reading a post of @taskmaster4450 today, I realized that NO, it's not just finance and crypto related content and we're allowed to post basically anything through the app. We're gonna be able to post pretty much what we feel like, something similar with noise.cash, and I started to think of spam and plagiarism.

Chances are that there will be users abusing the system, in their desperate attempt to earn as much rewards as possible, by posting all sort of crap, plagiarized content and do that endlessly. That's something I really do not wish for on this new to be launched app. I'm a spam and plagiarism hater, I admit that.

Leofinance thus far has managed to keep itself pretty clean and much of the cleaning work has been taken care of by @onealfa who has continuously directed disoriented users towards reading the posting guidelines of this community and even flagging the shit out of abusers. Now, he's an active user of this community, but how much will he be able to cover, in terms of cleaning, once we'll have thousands or more users that will unload tons of content through the app, it's hard to predict.

How will we deal with spam, abuse and plagiarism with this new app, that's my question of the day. I am really excited about it, because Hive really needs such an app, but it would be a pity to be digging so hard through piles of trash for decent or good quality microblogging content if the app will be targeted by abusers. So, how do we make sure we stay clean and we get mainstream with this app?

Hope solutions will be found and we make the experience on this new app what's meant to be. Game changing, engaging, rewarding, censorship free and always at hand to get in touch with the Hive world and do that at high speed, that's how I'd like it to be. Waiting for your views on the topic and wish you all a great day ahead.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
