The next big thing in finance(@leofinance) is microblogging. One of the most waited, in the case of some of us, and probably the best catalyst for mass adoption of our beloved blockchain Hive. Khal(@khaleelkazi) has talked about microblogging for quite some time and we might be weeks away from the official launch.

Whether microleo, or whatever the name will be for this microblogging platform, that is expected for Leofinance, it is somehow clear that it's gonna have its own attention token and that an airdrop for that token will occur in the near future for the LP and WLEO holders.

Beyond tokenomics, prices and other under the hood details that I am not familiar with, this microblogging service/platform that leofinance will launch will have a big positive impact on Hive, although some haters gonna hate and will probably address to it as a spam triggerer.

We've already witnessed bad vibes coming from some so called respectable folks in here, in regards of Leofinance considering it bad for Hive, mainly for its success I guess and that attitude will for sure be thrown at microleo as well. Some old farts still can't see quality in microblogging and I get that.

They're the SEC type of users who are defining quality by prehistorical norms and will for sure miss this life changing Hive app. Microblogging is not spam, as long as you don't abuse it, and twitter is the living proof of that. If the reality would have been the other way, twitter wouldn't survive for that long and be doing great, as it is.

In the speed and technology era it would be a pity to not have a twitter type of app on Hive. There is dbuzz from what I know, but doesn't seem to be a success. I guess they lack a community generating engaging and a token to match that.

I have been an advocate of short posts mostly during summer when I was busier, especially through the #facesofhive community and would love to be entertaining my followers with such type of content related to crypto and finance once it is possible, thanks to microleo.

Sometimes time is on my side, and probably yours as well, and putting out a 500-1000 words blog post is something I'm not unfamiliar of and such blogs have their fragrance as one can paint the picture clearer through lots of details and numbers, but often times time is not on your side and when BTC hit $28,000 for a brief moment for example you got to be fast to catch it.

I know, throwing a tweet type of post like BTC hits $28,000, now what can't be called blogging, but Hive shouldn't be just about blogging and to prove my point right, I would direct you to some crypto related tweets that generate over 50 unique comments per tweet, and that's traffic for the platform, that's pure value for a social media platform and makes it feel alive.

I have probably never ever scored 50 unique comments on any of my posts, because in order for that to happen it is supposed we would have 10 times more users than we currently have and that all of them would read entirely my 500-1000 words posts.

It's hard to digest almost entirely the amount of content leofinance is putting out because it's mostly blog posts. It's much easier to sip thirty-forty microblogs every few hours and share a comment or two on the topics. Now that doesn't mean everyone should stop blogging, I know I won't do that, as some topics need data and a story, but often times things happen at the speed of light and it feels nice knowing we can live them as they happen through a microblogging app like the one leofinance has prepared for us.

I am personally excited about the launch of microblogging, will for sure use twitter less than I currently am once that happens, hope it will be a success and waiting patiently for the airdrop.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
