I know it's not the end of the year yet and it might be too early to recap 2020 and analyze it from a financial point of view, where the money came from and where most of them flew to but... It's a cold day in here with a lot of wind outside and staying almost the whole day indoors got me into replaying the year for a bit.

It was quite a nasty year this one, with all the pandemic and uncertainty in the world. The Bitcoin halved though and it seems that we've got an ongoing bull market that will make some of us small fortunes, especially for the ones who invested wisely the past 300 days or so. I'm not a wise investor though and this post is not about my crypto investments at all, definitely not the man to be following when it comes to crypto investments.

It's about a $600 gift that I made myself this year, and that's my first DSLR camera. I know, it won't make me money, although I do get monetized posts once in a while from the pics I upload on Hive, but it sure paid well with joy. I was quite a snapper even when I was only having my smartphone camera at hand, but you should see me with the DSLR.

I am in my own world when out and about shooting pics and that's why I consider this damn quite cheap gadget to be my best investment for 2020. It takes me out of the mundane, it pauses time and takes the noise away and it opens a world full of details, colors and vibrancy. Makes the cold long exposure nights bearable and the time somehow dilutes.

I guess leofinance might not probably be the best tribe to post about such an investment, but I'm doing that because it's the one that I'm mostly attached to, and if anyone feels like this post doesen't belong here downvote it, I won't mind at all, I promise. Buying that damn camera was indeed a great investment, one that is unique, from my point of view, in terms of the revenues that it offers.

Put money to work and you'll make more money, is definitely a wise quote to have in mind as an investor, but at the end of the day, if your sole purpose of investing is to just keep staking and staking and collecting fortunes, you're kind of missing the purpose in this world. Have a look at Warren Buffet, he's a multi billionaire and he's definitely a great investor but that man doesn't look fulfilled at all, at least not to me.

I guess he should grab himself a camera and start shooting around... Honestly, making tons of money and not getting out of the money making machine and enjoy stuff, people and life in general seems so futile. Hence I consider this damn camera as my best investment in 2020. It has really paid off quite nice. I could have bought BTC instead, of course, with all that money and I'd probably have a better one now, taking profits out of the investment, instead of the one I actually purchased, but it's not always about money and making money, day and night and always hunting for the next cash opportunity.

Never the less, I do consider 2020, and 2021 to follow, as some of the greatest years in crypto and many of us who will have the patience and strength to hold all the way up will be rewarded. I also believe that every crypto penny earned online is to be worth way more than it currently is in less than a year from now. Still... my best investment for 2020 is my damn Nikon.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
