My Bull Market Regrets and My Best Accomplishment So Far

The title of this post sounds like the bull market is over and I'm blue or anything about my crypto investing results, and that might be the case, nobody knows for sure, although I doubt we're near the peak, but watching my progress in retrospective I realize I could have performed better.

I just read this post of @gadrian a few minutes ago and shared with him, and the ones reading the post, that I do have some bull market regrets. I will mention once again that I feel like the bull market is not over yet, although I have no clue when this will peak, but I still have some regrets.

First and foremost I regret not holding on my positions picked during the bear market. I should have stick with ETH, DOGE and some others that I thought at that time to be my lucky winners and I'd sit on a more promising portfolio than I am currently. To some extent I have repeated the main mistake I made the past bull market.

In 2017 I've only been in crypto for a few months, but even for that period of time I didn't had any strategy at all. I kept on jumping from one coin to another and ended up loosing more money than I have initially invested. Now I'm currently about 3X from my initial investment and probably by the end of the cycle I'll even score a 10X. Who knows...

If I'd held to my plan and my chosen tokens I would have been better now. All of this is somehow the result of listening to crypto gurus from twitter and youtube, instead of paying more attention to our Hive community. Plenty of them were saying that Ethereum won't perform anymore during this bull cycle and that altcoins with no real use case won't make anyone any money, DOGE included.

Well, have a look at DOGE and tell me this bull market is fundamentally driven. It's kind of late for regrets now, but I have them and I would be a liar if I'd claim the opposite. My holdings will probably perform extremely well during the following months and I'll be blown of the money I'll earn with my crypto investments, but so far I'm not in that position.

One thing else that I regret a lot is not buying more crypto when the 2020 crash occurred, right before the halving. I have done exactly the opposite of what a real investor does. I have fallen for fear and uncertainty and although not selling anything, I haven't profited either from the discounts the corona crash has offered to us.

I guess that somehow almost all of us have some sort of regrets regarding some decisions we took during this bull market. That could be a big mistake though that springs from the habit of looking back on my decisions too often. I will have to change this habit. Life doesn't come back, opportunities can't be pulled back to you either, but there's always something worth jumping on in the future.

You know what I don't regret though? Sticking with Hive and being active on Leofinance. Those two are two of my best bull market accomplishments and have paid out way better than any other fiat investment that I have in crypto. This relationship is a long term one and so far a highly fruitful one. As the bull market evolves I'll probably come back with an update for this post in a few months from now and see how much of regrets will I still have.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
