Two days ago I had a post narrating about some Jewish formula of managing one's finances and in that post I have also mentioned that this friend of mine who told me about this was thinking in what should he invest the 10% monthly income that's supposed to be invested according to the Jewish wealth scheme.

At that time, which is not long at all, he was inclined towards gold or crypto. He knew about crypto from me and another good friend of ours and he considered such assets as a potential long term investment. Worth mentioning is that he's thinking long term and that's a good thing imo.

By gold he was actually referring to gold in forms of jewelry as this is the traditional way Romanians are holding gold and that's pretty much the only way the majority would put any dime in this precious metal around here. Luckily my friend hasn't chosen gold and I have congratulated him for that, as many of us know this type of investment doesn't have much future.

Being new to crypto I had about an hour phone call with him, quite a few minutes spent on video to guide him through the process of installing his wallet, purchasing the crypto through an exchange and transferring it to his software wallet. I don't use hardware wallets, although I should, and found easier for him as well to get his crypto on a software one, namely Exodus that was recommended to me by @toofasteddie a couple of years ago.

What crypto did he invested in?

Based on the title of the post, one could say it's Bitcoin, but nope. I titled my post this way because I see the whole crypto assets spectrum as gold 2.0. He actually bought LTC at my recommendation. If you can remember, a few months ago I wrote about bringing my father to crypto and that I bought him 2 LTC. I had the same recommendation to my friend.

I still consider LTC a bargain during this bull market and despite having not much fundamentals it's still the Bitcoin Lite. I believe that as long as Bitcoin will be considered as a store of value, Litecoin will have its place among investors as well. It's also supported on all sort of exchanges, at crypto ATMs around the world, cheap to transfer and quite fast.

I call it the newcomers crypto and I will probably recommend it to as many new investors I will be able to. So far I have managed to bring only two persons to crypto, but unfortunately no one on Hive. I have a friend that has created a Steem account about three years ago, but he only posted twice and never touched his account since then. Maybe I'll get lucky in the future.

It's nice to see people channeling their attention towards crypto when it comes to investing and it feels even nicer to know you're the godfather who took them through the process of creating a wallet, buying the first crypto and so on. Some of them probably don't even know how lucky they are and how early this thing still is. We're indeed some lucky bastards.

Hope you enjoy the bull market as much as I do, have a great weekend and see you to the next one!

Thanks for attention, Adrian
