The Last Thing I'll Do For The Rest of The Bull Market

Looking at the crypto market for the past week or so, all we have is some shitty pumps and dumps that are probably helping whales amassing more cheap crypto and nothing more. It's like we're heading nowhere, but we're actually flying towards the sky, I have no doubt about that.

September has made a habit of being a shitty month for years in a row and this year is no exception. There are all sorts of price targets thrown around for Bitcoin and altcoins and we're definitely gonna have a mania phase that will leave many of us mouth open.

This cycle is actually my first complete one. I bought my first crypto in the fall of 2017 and haven't been on the sidelines ever since. I have held to some coins even during the bear market. I don't know if I were brave or stupid doing that, but it is what it is.

I closed the 2017 bull cycle on a loss, a quite painful one and my only trade that made any difference during the bear market has been with ETC. Bought at $14.7 and sold at $32 about two weeks later. It had some hardfork or something and due to this one I managed to revive my portfolio for a bit.

I witnessed BTC going from $3,000 to $20,000 in 2017, and haven't made a cent out of that move. Litecoin, my first ever bought crypto has rallied from $50, my entry price, to $360 in probably a month or so, but I skipped that one too... I owned XRP at $0.23 just to see it fly up to $3,60 soon after selling it and missed tons of profits on NXT and other shitcoins.

How was I able to get to that performance?

Quite simple... I simply haven't held any position long enough to make a difference. I jumped from one to another like an idiot and missed one of the most important stages of a bull market. The times when every moron could have made money have slipped through my fingers. That won't happen anymore.

I've become salted over years. Not as much as @onealfa is, but salty enough... I still remember when his Steemit bio was saying: old and salted and I liked how it sounds.

I've made tons of rookie mistakes and missed a lot of opportunities and I don't regret shit. It's how I got myself educated as a crypto investor and probably how I managed to enhance my poor patience. I haven't parked myself entirely on USDT and don't plan on doing that any soon. Won't "pollenate from one crypto to another either", as I did back in 2017.

I want to make this rest of the bull cycle matter for my personal finances. I'm not going to get rich, call that karma... I am making the most out of it though, have my exit plan(DCA), kind of have a vision of how the mania phase should look like and know when the time will come to start unloading.

I'll probably even score a 10X from here on some coins of mine.

I guess I'm the only one around here who hasn't 10Xed his portfolio yet. What can I say, always late to the party... Got my homework done though and ready for the exams :D. Have a great evening and see you to the next one!

Thanks for attention, Adrian
