Well guys, it seems we've just had our $40,000 BTC today, quite soon after the market crossed the one trillion dollars market cap. I don't know how many of the retail investors out there are celebrating BTC at $40,000, but I sure know Michael Saylor does, and probably Elon Musk too.

Most of us are probably more into alts than BTC, and yours truly is all in into alts, hence a $40k BTC is somehow of a complaisance celebration as we are actually thrilled mostly of our alts gains. Like for example ETH, LEO, LTC... and why not XRP...

I've noticed it on twitter quite often today, and it's becoming quite obvious really that ETH is gradually stealing the show from BTC. Bitcoin has already had its party and adding grand after grand in dollar valuation seems so natural. Altcoins on the other hand haven't all blown past their previous ATHs.

ETH is about $200 shy away from piercing through previous ATH and the way the market moves it feels like it can do that in a couple of days or so. Once that happens I assume it will replicate BTC's wild performance. Ethereum has the fundamentals, the fame and all the attention in the world right now to perform.

My take is that after it will once again claim $1,448, its previous ATH, will easily get to $2,000 and from there on only the sky is the limit. ETH holders will instantly get ecstatic I'm sure, like some teenager in my neighborhood that was telling me tonight how much money he now owns in the form of 2 ETH.

Once ETH gets wild, all alts will follow suit as he's the altcoins captain. Yes, almost all of them have had their share of pumps recently, but I still think we haven't had a proper run yet and once BTC gets exhausted and hands over the relay race to ETH it's alts rocking the party.

I don't own any ETH at the moment, after holding to some 10 of them almost the entire bear market, but I am confident that once we will have it going parabolic many others will follow. How do you like my meme by the way, and what do you think of having a once a week meme day in here?

Thanks for attention, Adrian
