The crazy dynamics in the CTP community
Have you watched one of the webinars of @jongolson and @blainjones?
For me it has become my ritual to watch the webinars every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning while having breakfast. Each time I watch these webinars I get a boost for the day. Try it, the energy can be contagious...
These webinars are streamed live, but since I'm situated on the other side of the pound, it's not possible for me to follow them live. Fortunately they always post a recording that I can watch the following morning.
Getting the message
You can learn a lot of things from these webinars but there are some core messages that you will hear regularly like:
- Don't sit on the sideline, be active
- Engage with others, try things out, create, build
- Work for the long term
- Show up every day, be consistent
When you watch their webinars regularly, these concepts become like a mantra and you begin to adopt them and live by them. When I started on the blockchain, I was posting once a month or in the best cases once every two weeks. Now I'm posting almost once a day and I've started to build quite substantial projects.
I'm not alone
Today I was in the hive-engine discord server and I wanted to ask for information regarding a project that I have. When I scrolled through the feed, I saw only entries of people from the CTP community...
These are some projects that community members have started:
- @lisamgentile1961 has created the TIME token
- @flaxz is about to create the ALIVE token
- @bradleyarrow has created his BBH token
- I created the CTPSB token
- Some other projects are in planning
Here I don't even speak about everything that @jongolson and @blainjones have crated (hivepay, index token,...)
These projects from community members are not all perfect and they need maybe some more development but where can you find a community where so many people actually start to create their own tokens!
The CTP Swarm over time
I've been ranking the community members according to their Hive Power regularly as a kind of motivation to help them grow. I've started to do it in July 2020. This is a screenshot of the ranking at the time:
Now let's look at this same ranking that I posted last week:
When you look at all the people on these rankings, you see that that they have substantially increased their hive power over the last 7 months. What I find also interesting to see is how the number of people in this ranking has increased.
The CTP swarm is growing in power and also in number.
The dynamics behind the growth of CTP
When you take a group of people, you motivate them to show up every day and you teach them to be consistent and active, you see results.
People start to learn, improve and they build stuff. That is in my opinion the crazy dynamics behind the CTP community. Everybody becomes an entrepreneur and we start to build and grow on all fronts.
