Las criptomonedas no existen físicamente, pero tienen mucho mayor poder que el dinero tradicional, de eso no tengo duda. Afirmar que las criptomonedas son "monedas salidas del aire" y no tienen valor alguno es una percepción algo alejada de la realidad.

Recientemente mi mamá @eve66 logró comprar un teléfono nuevo gracias a Hive. Aunque ella fue la que ahorró la mayor parte, yo me encargué de realizar la compra a través de @orinoco, un servicio de intercambio de criptomonedas. No es una de los teléfonos más avanzados del mercado, pero es una tremenda mejoría respecto a su teléfono anterior, que lleva más de 5 años de uso.

While she was the one who saved up most of it, I took it upon myself to make the purchase through @orinoco, a cryptocurrency exchange service. It's not one of the most advanced phones on the market, but it's a tremendous improvement over her previous phone, which she's been using for over 5 years.
Este teléfono es de la marca Yezz, su modelo es el Art 1. Posee una memoria RAM de 3 GB, irónicamente superior a los 2 GB de RAM de nuestra computadora. Posee 13+0,3 MP de resolución en la cámara principal y 8 MP en la cámara frontal. Representa una mejora abismal respecto a su teléfono anterior, y por un precio de 100$, que seguramente serán bien invertidos para que ella pueda realizar sus posts de Arte.
This phone is made by Yezz, its model is the Art 1. It has a RAM memory of 3 GB, ironically superior to the 2 GB of RAM of our computer. It has 13+0.3 MP resolution in the main camera and 8 MP in the front camera. It represents an abysmal improvement over her previous phone, and for a price of $100, which will surely be well invested for her to make her Art posts.

Algo interesante a contar en la compra de este equipo, es que la tienda tenía dos métodos de pago: bolívares o divisas (dólares). Pregunté que métodos de pago en divisas aceptaban y uno de ellos era Zelle.
Era de esperarse, pues es un método de pago muy utilizado por comercios. Pero el problema es que no tenemos Zelle, pocos lo pueden utilizar en Venezuela por que es necesario una cuenta en el exterior.
Pero en seguida vino a mi mente el servicio de @orinoco, el cual también posee la opción de hacer cambios en Zelle. Tenía los HBD, y solo necesitaba que Orinoco enviara los 100 Zelle a la cuenta de la tienda.
Something interesting to tell in the purchase of this equipment, is that the store had two methods of payment: bolivars or foreign currency (dollars). I asked what foreign currency payment methods they accepted and one of them was Zelle.
It was to be expected, since it is a payment method widely used by stores. But the problem is that we do not have Zelle, few can use it in Venezuela because an account in a foreign country is necessary.
But then came to my mind the @orinoco service, which also has the option to make changes in Zelle. I had the HBDs, and I just needed Orinoco to send the 100 Zelle to the store account.
Nunca antes había utilizado esta opción, y la verdad la recomiendo si necesitan enviar o recibir dinero de Zelle. Solo necesitan el Nombre y el Correo Zelle del contacto, el número telefónico parece ser opcional siempre. Orinoco también maneja transacciones de PayPal.
De esta manera, no necesité hacer el cambio a Bolívares, lo cual puede ser tedioso. Generalmente se realizan cambios a Bs para compras diarias o más pequeñas.
I have never used this option before, and I highly recommend it if you need to send or receive money from Zelle. They only need the contact's Name and Zelle Email, the phone number always seems to be optional. Orinoco also handles PayPal transactions.
This way, I did not need to make the change to Bolivars, which can be tedious. They usually make changes to Bs for everyday or smaller purchases.
