Hello friends. Welcome back to my blog. This is a great Sunday for me. All the women in my church are celebrating mother's day. So I am so happy today. Please do join me in this spirit of celebration.

PLEASE! GO THROUGH WRITE UP FIRST BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO. 🙏🙏. If you go straight to the video, you might be lost.

Because of how special today is to me, I will be preparing a special delicacy for my family. In my place, When you have a special visitor that you want to welcome very well, you will prepare this same meal to show that person that you have welcome him/her specially.

We are going to learn how to prepare ABACHA. This is a very special meal like i said earlier and I will also be doing a short video on how to mix everything together. But first, we are starting from the ingredients needed and how to prepare it from and then we move to the video.

INGREDIENTS:

ABACHA (prepared from cassava)

LETUS

ONION

PEPPER

SALT

OGIRI (local magic)

GARDEN EGG

CRAYFISH

MAGGI

Ehuru ( a kind of spice that is used when preparing abacha)

Red oil

Ngu ( this is local potash) this particular one is meant for abacha or for cooking some of our native meals. You might not get it in the market unless you request for it. We just prepare it and keep at home for our native meals. But simply asking any Igbo woman in any market especially in Nigeria about NGU for preparing abacha will help you get it.

All the ingredients put together. 👇

STEPS ON HOW TO PREPARE IT.

Soak the abacha in boiled water for about five to ten minutes.

👉 Slice the onion

👉 Slice the Latus

👉Slice the garden eggs

👉Blend the pepper, ehuru and crayfish first.

From this point, we move to the brief video I made to make it understandable.

Thanks for coming around. Your comments will be well appreciated. Do have a wonderful day.
