GOLD FOIL VS REGULAR FOIL - A COST/POWER BREAKDOWN
I wanted to share a recent post by @tardigrade123 about the cost and power breakdowns between buying gold foil or regular foil cards. We are in a buyer friendly market right now with a huge supply of cards and unopened packs that the thought of building out a gold foil deck is actually feasible.
My main focus has been on some of the cheaper common cards and getting them maxed out for gold. The breakdown shows that you only need a level 8 gold foil common to have more power than a maxed out regular foil. Plus - it's cheaper!
So as we go along in this market, I'll be stocking up on more gold foil commons to play with in the long run. The extra power and 10% DEC bonus for wins is definitely worth it.
