CUB Airdrop Incoming! Here's How To Use the BSC With MetaMask.
This short guide covers adding the Binance Smart Chain wallet to an existing MetaMask wallet.
In a couple short days I imagine we will be getting our first glimpse of CUB Finance on the Binance Smart Chain. Exciting times to be apart of this ecosystem!
If you're like I was only a few weeks ago and had never transacted on the BSC, come follow along and let's get setup.
This short guide assumes you already have MetaMask installed. If not you can check out this guide here.
Let's Do This!
How To Add BSC To Your MetaMask Wallet.
[1] Login to your MetaMask wallet and click the colourful wheel in the top right corner, from the drop down menu select "Settings".

[2] Scroll down and locate the Networks tab.
Scroll to the bottom and click on the blue "Add Network" button.
[3] Fill in the following fields to add the BSC network to your wallet:
Make sure you enter information for the Mainnet.
For the most up to date list of Mainnet RPC's visit binance here.
Network Name: Binance Smart Chain (customizable)
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
ChainID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com (customizable)
That's it, you've made it!
Now all we need to do is fund the wallet with a little bit of BNB to pay for transactions and you'll be on your way.
Funding Your BSC wallet
I fund my BSC wallet from BNB purchased on the Binance exchange.
When sending funds from an exchange, such as BNB to your BSC wallet on MetaMask, you need to be sure you select BEP20.
[1] Start by copying your BSC wallet address from MetaMask and pasting it into recipient address. Always make sure the recipient address is a BSC address.
[2] Select Binance Smart Chain(BSC).
You always want to be sure you are sending to BEP20 which is the BSC.
[3] Wait for the magic to happen.
Once your BSC wallet is funded you will see a balance.
No it's not Ethereum, that's a labelling issue. If you have a positive balance then your BSC wallet is now funded.
