Meme stonks for a meme life! GME Earnings call is tonight after market close, how will the stock respond?

No Big GME Pump Ahead Of Q3 Earnings

Fun times for those Diamond handed friends out there! You know who you are.. But overall GME is holding nicely, currently at $174. It's up the past couple days to the tune of about 8%.

But how will the market react after hours and tomorrow is the question.

Word on the street is that the company will report a loss of around 52 cents per share, which would be an improvement vs this time a year ago.

Sales are up, stores are reopening, and that NFT play?!?

Fellow meme stock AMC Entertainment (AMC) ran up 6%, reclaiming its 200-day line, after Tuesday's 7.8% gain.

Gamestop is a strange position but the ball is in it's court. Physical sales are moving the way of blockbuster video, but the company has seen pretty massive support from it's old time customers and newly acquainted stonk hodling fans.

In November the company announced it had secured a new $500 Million ABL Facility. I'm not super into finance and couldn't tell you to much about this but lower lending rates and more flexible terms is a good thing.

In addition to delivering enhanced liquidity, the new ABL Facility provides for reduced borrowing costs, lighter covenants and more flexibility.

Gamestop needs to pivot and pivot hard, not easily pulled off but they seem to have the support to give it a go and now is the time.

When GME NFT's?

Back in October there was buzz around internet forums that GME was entering the crypto space with an NFT play.

Much speculation at this point, your guess is as good as mine in terms which direction they go.

But if I was to speculate.. I would say they build an NFT market place. Maybe even a full service shop where users can self publish NFT's across the Ethereum blockchain, or maybe there' already thinking bigger, across multiple blockchains!

They're hiring!

So not much news since the fall on what exactly they're up to but we do know that they're continuing to hire, or at least are accepting resumes.

So if you've got the skills to pay the bill this may be something you want to check out!

That said solidity and full stack developers, or at least the decent ones are in serious demand these days and there's no shortage of opportunities in this digital age.

Ciao for now,
