In the broader NFT market it's pretty obvious the PFP NFT surge has passed. Fewer useless projects popping up, value has dropped, and less Discord spam all around!

What's Next?

Everything is ephemeral, in life, and in crypto!

When it comes to NFT and crypto things move fast, you know this. One day in crypto = 1 month in real time, or something like that.

With the constant state of flux we see trends rise and fall quickly, and we're on to the new thing. With this summers NFT surge we saw a ton of basically uselss PFP NFT's flood the market. The ones with the best art and community backing faired well while most will likely fade into oblivion, but only time will tell.

NFT's With Use Case!

I like to to look at this wave as the first real explosion of NFT's onto the scene. Cal 2017/2018 a blip, an alpha test, and this recent trend was beta.

Now that we've got the protocols and MVP's out of the way is it time for NFT's with a use case?

Enter Blockchain Gaming NFT's

Now's the time for NFT's with a use case to rise and shine, and this is where Blockchain Gaming is going to emerge as the most valuable NFT's on the planet all in due time.

We've already had a front row seat here on HIVE with many Splinterlands NFT's doing a 100x.

Now we have tripple AAA studio and teams putting together the next wave of blockchain games, and some of those assets are starting to launch. Keep an eye out for more blockchain gaming opportunities over the next 2 years, there will be a ton of great projects built during the winter.

Most of these projects will NOT be built on Ethereum, so don't sleep on other EVM compatible blockchains like Avalanche, Fantom, & Matic.

Personally I've been moving aggressively into acquiring blockchain gaming and metaverse assets for the past couple months.

Here are a few example of some of the opportunities I've jumped on for longer terms plays; Big Time, Mirandus, Sidus Hero's.

While regular old NFT's may have seen their best days, things are really just getting started for NFT's with actual use case like Blockchain Gaming.

Splinterlands was our training, now that we've all seen first hand the potential gains, and the massive amount of utility that NFT's can have, it's time to make the most of it!
