So how's my yield farm doing? Last week I initiated Operation Yield Farm by jumped into a yield farm over at PancakeBunny.finance and staked 10.04 CAKE to kick things off.

Now it's time to have a peak at my farm and see how I'm powering up some of these gains! I did have a little look see through out the week so I'm optimistic.

It's yield time baby, let's go!

The value of CAKE is more or less the exact same now as it was a week ago. I paid on average $12.95 each for my 10 CAKE. For measurement purposes I'm going to use my initial investment of $130 USD rather than the ever fluctuating current cost of the staked tokens.

I'm definitely looking at this, and that current value of the tokens is important, but to make things easier to measure I'm going to initial investment amount.

Initial Investment Value: $130 USD Current Initial Investment Value: $130 USD CAKE Earned: 0.2648 ($3.34) BUNNY Earned: 0.04143 ($2.15)

Current Total Value: $135.49 Earning To Date: $5.49 APR: 219.2%

I'm content to leave this farm operating for another 3 weeks just to complete 1 full month.

At that point I plan re-evaluate, and consider my option. It's possible I then move into another farm most likely staking stablecoins or earning a higher quality coin, perhaps BNB.

I think it was pure greed that led to me to farm CAKE on pancake bunny with the added bonus of earning BUNNY, at the time BUNNY was worth $200 USD so I was all over it, it's not in the area of $52. There's just no reason BUNNY should be worth anymore more than what CAKE is going for. Regardless the yield I'm getting on my staked CAKE alone is comparable to simply staking it into a CAKE pool at PancakeSwap.

So as long as BUNNY doesn't go to zero in the next few weeks all is good!

Then re-evauate and see what's next for Operation Yield Farm - Stage 2. We've now learned that LEO will be on PancakeSwap in the near future, how will that factor in? Will they go with a simple Syrup Pool or an LP Farm with a pair. Without giving it tons of thought, maybe I should consider a bigger bag of BNB so that I can yield farm from a potential LEO-BNB LP..?

Have to say thanks to fellow LeoFinance farmers I've learned a fair amount in the last week. Between guides posted by @nealmcspadden & @revisesociology which can be found here:

That and all the feed back and engagement from LeoFinance users stopping to comment, respect!

Happy farming to all the farmers out there!

Ciao for now,
