We tend, albeit unconsciously, to believe so. Money is something that is part of our lives, whether we like it or not. Money limits some things that we so much want to do but that we need money to be able to do.

With the money we can do better maintenance of our health, having a health plan for example. With money, we can travel wherever we want in the company of whoever we want. With money we can eat what we most want without worrying about the price.

But should life be an eternal quest for more money? I question this because that seems to be at the core when it comes to living and achieving goals. Society has made everything we want to depend on money to achieve...

… Unless it comes to love, loyalty and true friendship. These are the most important treasures we can have in this life and they definitely cannot be bought.

But everything else, when we talk about something material, we need money. I find this a little sad, you know? We should be able to be free in this world, we should be able to get things right without going through life having to face hell many times to get the basics we need to live.

But what if I think that way simply because I'm seeing it from the wrong perspective? Shouldn't I want the things I want just because they cost so much Should I accept my reality or seek more and more monetary power to achieve what I crave? Or should I just have smaller dreams?

There are so many questions… Part of me wished that money wasn't so important to me. But unfortunately, it is and this is something I still fight struggle with.

Maybe I should look at this quest in another way. Maybe I should just live my life intensely and try to be useful to society in some way and money would be a consequence… Or is this just another dream?

What do you guys think?
