“Good morning, welcome to our company. How may we be of help to you today?” “thank you for shopping with us, please do come back again”, “What an amazing friend we see in you, you are more than a customer, you are a wonderful friend”, “I hope I was able to solve your technical issues?” “We love your smile; it makes us want to do more”. These words as well as simple caring characters towards customers is one thing that make them want to come back again.

Customer service is an additional criterion to get customers coming to you even if your competitors deliver the same quality as you. Even when you have the best product in the industry, a bad customer service is a bad PR in business. People tend to talk about a customer care representative attended to them before talking about the product being sold. If you have sat with people to discuss a particular company or business, the first thing to be discussed is how the employees treat the customers and when people get bad customer service, 95% of customers will talk about the negative experience they get from an employee and they will end the conversation with a review saying “do not go there for any reason”.

You see, the best way to have a good customer service is easy business with customers. Customers love to do business in the most conducive, easy way instead of in the most difficult way. Make your business easy to move through, if it is difficult to identify the location of a product, or an office, then it is advisable to have someone who will be able to assist get those things or places. This also applies to online businesses, making your business easy to navigate online is also expected.

One bad customer service I have experienced in my country is at the bank. Bankers here just treat customers as if they are jobless and do not have their own jobs. They answer calls lately, talk to people wrongly and make people feel like they are not the one making the business grow. This attitude is wrong and does not support business growth. Customer service is one ingredient that makes business sweet and grow.
