gm!

Today is a rainy Sunday.

Perfect for laying in bed, listening to some relaxing music and working on some business strategy.

Rather than typing words on a page, I like to work on business strategy more visually. I use Google Jamboard to map out my company and its three business units.

๐ŸŒ• Yellow sticky notes on top are the holding company's name, which hasn't been defined yet. The business has been legally registered as IKIGAI, but it's not the name we'll be using commercially. I'm working on something that represents the work we do.

๐Ÿ”ต Blue are the individual brands

๐Ÿ‘› Pink are the customer segments.

๐Ÿ”ถ Orange are the products or services.

Having a sticky note board helps me play around with ideas, move things around, brain-storm and scratch off ideas too.

When I want to work on an individual business unit's structure and value proposition, I drill down to it's Business Model Canvas.

And yes, I use sticky notes on it too:

This is an website I'm working on to download sound effects and foley for video games and film.

Again, with sticky notes, I can play around with my customer segments, key activities and what my value proposition is.

For @recording-box, which is our main business unit at the moment, we have a wall dedicated to its Business Model Canvas:

It's a fun exercise and can be quite insightful.

You can find a blank Business Model Canvas free to download on Wikipedia:

And work on your own S.S.S.S

Happy Sunday hustlers!
