Hi,

I've been pretty busy lately, as there is a lot going on around me. My activity has declined as my screen time has been shorted, and this will probably continue for another 2 weeks. For this Easter small holiday, we decided to take a brake and rushed to the Black Forest in Germany, where we mostly enjoy nature and have a lack of internet. When I get a glimpse of a signal I take my laptop out and use it, but no longer than an hour.

This leaves me to the essential of things, like replying to direct messages, e-mails and if I get a chance, I drop a post, as it is a daily habit that I don't want to change.

Today some of my friends called me in panic that their portfolio is in red. I said, ok, get used to it as it will happen more often than you think. Just don't sell. I try to avoid of giving financial advice, as I'm not an analyst, but this was easy to say, don't panic sell. Let it the needed time to relax, think about, and then make a move. Of course, there are a lot of good traders out there that sell now for a profit, but I'm not.

I tell everyone that I'm for the long run and my portfolio grows slowly over time, with the aim to be stable in 5 years to give my family and me a cashflow from where we can live our daily life. Simple as that.

This is my approach, invest in time and let it grow, as it mostly beats the short impulse of selling. I'm not against timing some good investments, by far, as I have some money for that. I just want to say that most of my portfolio is built for the long run.

Most rich people in crypto that I know have built their assets in a span that is higher than 5 years, and they still are growing and holding strong with a least of 5 years plan. They diversify now, after the best positions are strong enough to sustain a loss.

This is my approach, get a mentor, even a virtual one and follow his steps, learn from him and from his mistakes. I have 3 mentors on this blockchain, 3 that does not know that I study them like from this way as they even do not need to know as their behaviour is the best teacher.

All 3 have a few things in common and the main one is the long holding position and the long plan in the game.

As I say to my friends, crypto is a long game, play it wisely and don't panic.

How do you see it?
