¡La Actualización está lista! ¡Aliento está en la V1.27.3! | Actualizaciones Witness Aliento [ES | EN]
¡Saludos, Hivers! Hoy les queremos traer un post hablando un poco sobre la última actualización que hemos realizado a nivel de infraestructura del nodo testigo del proyecto @aliento; como sabrán, en la actualidad estamos en el Hardfork 27, sin embargo, se ha seguido actualizando el mismo, al punto de que, si echamos un vistazo a la lista de los testigos, todos están corriendo la versión 1.27.3:
Todavía existen algunos nodos que no están corriendo esta versión, sino que todavía están en la versión raíz (1.27.0) y se ve reflejado en la lista de testigos:
Luego de algunas investigaciones, pudimos obtener la información de que esta versión realmente es más requerida por el top 20 de testigos (la gobernanza) que por el resto, pero nuestro deber como nodos es estar siempre actualizados a la versión más reciente del código fuente de Hive que se esté realizando, por lo que decidimos actualizar el nodo.
Estuvimos algunos días teniendo algunos problemas al respecto, sobretodo en el tema de la sincronización, sin embargo, el equipo de @privex nos apoyó muchísimo y nos hizo solventar muy rápido, por lo que, por fin, podemos dar toda la certeza de que el testigo está completamente listo para continuar con su funcionamiento y su trabajo en la producción y firma de bloques.
Si entran en este enlace pueden ver la lista de próximos testigos a firmar bloques, para este momento en el que hemos redactado este post, estamos de número 50.
Y si se preguntan el porqué de la actualización, fueron unos cambios sutiles con respecto a la versión 1.27.0, los cuáles son:
- Cambios en las funciones de la Blockchain
Estas no son más que unas mejoras en algunas funciones del código de Hive que no requieren de un Hardfork, es decir, que no requiere una actualización pesada de parte de los testigos de la Gobernanza.
- Cambios y Correcciones en la API
Las API son un vínculo funcional entre las máquinas de los testigos y la blockchain de Hive, poseen una acción particular dentro de su desarrollo y deben ser evolucionadas constantemente para volverlas más eficientes para realizar su trabajo.
- Correciones de Bugs/Errores Generales
Esto no es más que simples correciones en algunos bugs encontrados dentro de la blockchain generadas por algunas de sus API.
Los otros cambios ya son más a nivel de los Nodos Testigo, por lo que no hay mucho qué contar en ese aspecto.

Greetings, Hivers! Today we want to bring you a post talking a bit about the last update we have done at the infrastructure level of the @aliento project's witness node; as you may know, we are currently on Hardfork 27, however, it has continued to be updated, to the point that, if we take a look at the list of the witnesses, they are all running version 1.27.3:
There are still some nodes that are not running this version, but are still on the root version (1.27.0) and this is reflected in the witness list:
After some research, we were able to get the information that this version is actually more required by the top 20 witnesses (governance) than the rest, but our duty as nodes is to always be updated to the most recent version of the Hive source code being made, so we decided to update the node.
We spent a few days having some problems in this regard, especially on the issue of synchronization, however, the @privex team was very supportive and made us solve it very quickly, so, finally, we can give all the certainty that the token is fully ready to continue its operation and work in the production and signing of blocks.

And if you're wondering why the update, it was a few subtle changes from version 1.27.0, which are:
- Changes in the functions of the Blockchain
These are merely enhancements to some functions of the Hive code that do not require a Hardfork, i.e., they do not require a heavy update on the part of the Governance witnesses.
- API Changes and Fixes
APIs are a functional link between token machines and the Hive blockchain, they have a particular action within their development and must be constantly evolved to make them more efficient to do their job.
- General Bug Fixes
This is nothing more than simple fixes to some bugs found within the blockchain generated by some of its APIs.
The other changes are already more at the level of the Witness Nodes, so there is not much to tell in that aspect.
