Internet is our part of life and without it, we cannot expect things to happen now. Data is the new oil in the 21st century and this is something that we need the most for many things in our life that includes learning and earning. Life has changed after the covid pandemic where a lot of people have moved on to web space from the manual practice and that is where the Internet is the medium through which people are able to experience the digitalization. For many people internet, is just way to connect with people or to get thinone through the online portals but it is much more than this, and in this post we will talk about the new face of the Internet which is also called web 3.0
How Internet has changed?
The Internet has evolved a lot in the last few decades and now it is very advanced. Things have gone and, because of this we are able to do a bunch of activities with and without going through any complicated process. Now social media has become part of our life and we use it everyday that includes some applications or even web portal but the purpose remains same. The reason why we use social media is to have a social life available in web space through this we can connect with people across the world. We have been using the same way since long but now things are moving towards a new dimension.
What if I would say that now you can own your account as well as the content you share? You also have the authority on your data and no one else can come in between to bring any rule for us. It also creates an opportunity for us to get paid for the content or our reward with this advanced version of the internet. Yes you read it right and this is possible only in web 3.0 which is the newest version of the Internet and things are completely different here. Now we know that connecting with anyone through social media is something that can be done within seconds and even we can share the content with the world in a jiffy but that does not bring any value back to us. We also know that the content that we share on these social media platform can be deleted or manipulated by technology companies. I'm sure that many of you must have seen various situations on social media where people are literally crying for their account ban or content deletion and it has practice common practise these days.

The good thing is that we need not to worry about it with web 3.0 decentralized a decentralthe ised version of Internhere we geofhe ownership off our account as well as the content. This change has already started and we can see a lot of people losing the charm in platforms like Facebook and they started moving towards the decentralization where take care the freedom of speech. The only content and they are also earning through the content creation on the decentralised social media platforms. Earlier this was not possible but now when technology is evolving and things are getting smarter then earning money through the content has become a reality. The blockchain technology makes it even better because it is highly advanced and immutable which is why we need not to worry about the ownership and the existence of our account. It is censorship resistant and this is where we get the freedom to share anything that we like and it always will remain on the chain.
Transition from Web 2 to Web 3
Things are changing and I believe that web 3 is the future of social media and the Internet where people are getting more powerful as they can control everything without the intervention of any third party or technology company. This is the time when people are even more concerned about the investment as they do not want to keep it with the bank because here also they have to go through the same pattern where the money is owned by the bank during the tenure selected by the investor. Like we do invest in decentralized finance (DeFi) where we get complete freedom and ownership of the funds similarly web 3 is for us where we get the same experience with our account and everything that we do over the Internet.
I am one of the users of web three and I truly believe in this because I have been experiencing the same for the last couple of years. I believe that web three is the future of the Internet and we are going to witness a huge transition from web 2.0 to web 3.0 in the coming years.
