Saturday Savers 2023 Progress Report Week 3

It's Saturday, and that means it's time for my weekly SaturdaySavers update post !

If you're not familiar with SaturdaySavers, it's a fabulous initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @susie-saver on the @eddie-earner account - think of it as a way to instil the discipline of regular savings with goals, ideal for people like me who live a chaotic life with far too little self-discipline !

This has been an odd kind of week. During last weekend and the first half of the week, I was on fire with Hive posts, sometimes managing two a day (unusual for me !). Then about Wednesday it all fell apart as I had to deal with a series of business issues that took a lot of time and left me mentally drained. Hopefully mostly sorted now, although I expect to be very busy for a couple of weeks soon as I replace a key piece of software... I expect a big learning curve !

Here's how I did last week;

Hive Power

I've kind of let this do it's own thing for a week. All of this gain is author and curation rewards, which I'm happy with, and I'm exactly on target at 6% of the goal achieved at 6% of the year gone.

HBD

I'm still pushing liquid HIVE into HBD, although the flurry of posts I did last weekend has helped boost it as well.

LEO

A gain of 9.55 LEO, mostly from delegation plus a little bit in the way of curation rewards. I really should focus on posting in LeoFinance more often !

EDS

A growth of 0.48, keeping me exactly on target. I might pick up a couple more EDSMM's at some point, just to make sure it stays that way. I should probably also start tracking EDS payments out to HIVE a bit better so I'm recognising the full value of what this great program offers.

SBI

This is one where I need to try harder ! It's the only goal I'm failing right now, and although it's probably the most minor of my goals, I'm competitive so will be working hard to fix it !

Posts in Month

I'm up to 17 posts so far, so well on my way to hitting the target. Weekends is definitely when I post the most, I'm not sure how that impacts earnings, but I'm focusing more on posting what interests me and treating the earnings as a secondary benefit.
