SaturdaySavers Club Progress - Week #7/#35
Hello fellow savers, it's Saturday already, so update time. At least this time I didn't wait until almost midnight to get it done !
As usual, I'll start with the table showing how I'm doing....
Hive Power
Some nice growth this week, with solid rewards from a couple of posts I'd done the week before. I've done better the last couple of weeks with getting the number of posts up, although real-world pressures mean I'm nowhere near as prolific as most people on Hive. But overall I think I'm well and truly on target to hit my goal.
LEO
Earnings not quite at the level I need, but getting closer. Although I haven't posted much onto LeoFinance directly as I'd planned, I've been more active in terms of comments and curation. Combined with the wonders of compounding, it's starting to pay off.
EDSMM
It was last week that I hit the goal on this. Before I decide whether to set a new, increased goal, I'm going to watch the amount of EDS mined for a couple of weeks, just to make sure the return on investment really is worth it (although at this early stage it looks good).
Posts
I've done slightly better in terms of number of posts, so with any luck I'll actually be able to hit target this month. At this stage, I'm mentally thinking to myself that if I can hit target two months in a row, I'll start increasing it incrementally by one or two posts a month. I've also realised that I write far too many really, really long posts and it might be better to do more shorter ones.
Other Stuff
Something I discovered last week, that I hadn't spotted before (even though I should have) is that it's possible to delegate level 2 tokens. The one that seems to work best for this is #lolz - they have delegation accounts for around a dozen of the most common tokens. This means that instead of selling all those little bits of token dust I've accumulated (which just isn't worth the time it takes), I can delegate them all to LOLZ, and all the rewards will come in that one token, which can then be staked for further gains. It's still tiny amounts so far, but I am hopeful that it'll grow over time to become a sensible amount.
The other thing I'm going to plug is the Worldbuilding Community although I appreciate it's a slight tangent to SaturdaySavers. The community posts a writing prompt every day; they are really imaginative, but if I am honest they don't get the level of response they deserve. So to address this, I've worked with the community creator to offered a one month 50HP delegation for the best response in August. The post detailing the contest is at
