There are significant costs involved in undertaking a project like this, from the cost of printing one skeleton, and the cost of printing a second one that will work better than the first. The cost of designing another skeleton that is stronger and then an improved version, or another robot entirely.

The main reason why this account is here is because separating funds for this project creates more confidence that you can see what happens with donations. So far $100 have been spent towards the first print and with a few pieces I know will need to be duplicated, will need a little bit more.

Any HBD donated to this project will be held in savings for @alphalab and the hope is that the project can be self sustaining. (If a robot can do it, so can anyone.) And that means we need more than 3000 HBD, which would run out quickly, even stretched across the next four years.
