It will be very interesting to see how all this pans out. I believe the work-life balance has changed in many peoples' minds. Being able to work at home, often more productively and getting to spend more time with family has caused a big social change especially here in Ireland. I do some work in the offices of a lot of the multinational companies in the Irish silicon valley in the Docklands and all the offices are still empty. I am sure there will be pushback from the companies as they have all signed 35-year leases on their building, so will they remain empty or be repurposed for housing? we will see. The lack of commuting has also helped improve air quality and traffic management which is also a good thing. I hope we never go back to the way it was and use this as an opportunity to improve.
