Good morning to everyone , I hope you all are doing good . This is yet another statistical post which focuses on new accounts created through LeoFinance .

Transactions

What do you mean by transaction in this context ?

Anything done on a blockchain is considered as a transaction . It might be

  • Post / Comment

  • Vote

  • Custom_JSON

  • Account Update

Accounts created via LeoFinance

As we all know LeoFinance is doing a great job in onboarding new users . It has made it simple and easy with 0 cost .

This is one of the many reasons why I have voted them as witness.

10 HP

When a new account is created , it is delegated 10 HP by @leo.voter account so that the account can start transacting instantly since all transactions need RC and RC depends on HP .

  • Currently @leo.voter has delegated to 391 accounts .

25 random accounts data

  1. I have picked 25 random accounts which has received delegation of 10 HP by @leo.voter .

  2. All these accounts have been created a week ago so as they should have had enough time to transact .

These are the random 25 accounts -

Out of these 25 accounts , how many accounts haven't transacted at all till now ?

  • 17 accounts has done atleast 1 transaction and 8 haven't .

How many transactions has been done by these 17 active accounts in total till date?

  • 327
  • Daily average = 46-47 transactions
  • Per account average per day - 2.7 ( round up to 3 )

Per user transaction average ( only active accounts -> 17 accounts )

  • 19.23 ( rounds off to 19 transaction per user )

What type of transactions are these accounts doing the most?

  • Nice , they feel like they should upvote even though they have less voting value , this tells us one of the two things

    • They are addicted to FB and twitter so they feel this works the same way . In other words , they don't know how upvotes work here actually .
    • They like the content they are reading :)
  • Custom_json is in second position , which can be transferring tokens or various other types like staking , claiming tokens etc .

  • Out of 36 comment/posts , how many are posts and how many are comments ?

    • This tells us that they are not more inclined towards engaging at the beginning . The comment and posts count are almost equal .

How much time does a user on an average take to make his first transaction on Hive ?

This is calculated by taking= First transaction time - Account creation time

Time taken for first transaction on an average = 00:53:58

Almost an hour ? Is this too much ?

Which transaction is the first transaction for most users ?

  1. Comment
  2. Custom_Json
  3. Vote
  4. Account_update

Don't mistake this with "ORDER of transaction" . The above is rankings .

Means - The above doesn't state = First transaction of most users is Comment , second transaction is Custom_JSON , so on - NO , this is not right .

Correct example - For most users , first transaction is COMMENT .

Second in ranking is Custom_Json as first transaction .

Third in ranking is Vote as first transaction etc .

Note

  1. All these need not be accurate representation of all accounts which has received delegation by @leo.voter .
  2. 25 seems to be good enough sample to extract data .
  3. All transaction are performed by account holders itself . Meaning - If ABC creates an account and if @amr008 stakes ABC 10 HP , it isn't considered as transaction because ABC didn't do the transaction ( no RC cost for ABC account )
I just hope if LeoFinance team comes across this post , it will help them in some or the other way . Maybe to decide if 10 HP is enough or not , what to do about inactive accounts etc .
