Today I wanna share information about the application that you guys must have on your phone when you may decide to visit a country in Southeast Asia (Of course after the Covid-19 is over). As you know, Southeast Asia has many popular tourist destinations in the world such as Phuket, Thailand or Bali, Indonesia and I think one day after this pandemic ends, maybe you will visit that place for a vacation with your friends or family. These applications are Gojek and Grab, you can choose whichever one suits for you because these two applications have the same function commonly, so you don't need to download both of them on your phone. ok guys let's see how these two applications will help you when you visit any country in Southeast Asia.
Ride-Hailing Transport Services
Both of these applications offer services to take you go around in Southeast Asian countries. If you have ever used Uber, that's how these two applications work too, If you wanna enjoy high mobility while visiting tourist attractions such as Bali, Bangkok, Phuket, and Vietnam, then I recommend using motorbike services than car, because not only fast, motorbike services also help you not to get stuck in traffic. Because many Southeast Asian countries traffic jams kinda crazy for me lol.., especially in Indonesia, so using a motorbike service is the right choice than car. and motorbike is very popular transportation for Southeast Asian people in general..so you need to try it and I guarantee you would enjoy it..
Goods Delivery Service
If you wanna deliver any goods or your friend wants to send you something but you and your friends are in different places then these two applications are the best choice that ready to serve you and your friends to send goods to each other. And you don't need to worry about the goods missing or something would happens cause these two application have great reputation so far and you can also check the movement of your courier via the maps available in these two applications.
Grab Food and Go food
This is the popular service of these two applications for me and i think it would help you a lot when you visit southeast asia one day. it allows you to order food or drinks that available at your closest location when you in any Southeast Asian country. This service is very helpful,, if you wanna try the local food in your place where you at but you fell lazy to get out from your bed then this service will really help you.
You just need to choose the type of food or drink that you like, which is available on the app display, and you do choose and order, then application system would looking for the gojek or grab driver that closest to location of the restaurant you chose before. it's for maximizing the delivery time of your order so you don't have to wait too long. You can also monitor the movement of the gojek or grab courier drivers through the available maps and also the time the driver would take before your food orders arrive at your address..

I am not favoring either of these two applications here, but trying to provide a factual comparison so that it can be a consideration for you regarding which application is suitable for you when visiting countries in Southeast Asia.
Grab Advantage Compared to Gojek, this application is available in almost all Southeast Asian countries. so that you can use this application in Many Southeast Asian countries.
Grab Minus Compared to Gojek, the grab application has only fewer services offered in its application.
Gojek Advantage Has many services available in the application. Like GO-MED, it's a service for customers who wanna buy medicines, vitamins, and other health needs at a licensed pharmacy that is already available on GO-MED services. or Go streaming which allows you to watch your favorite movies. Go clean to order a cleaning service to clean your place and many more services available compared to Grab
Gojek Minus only available in some countries in Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
*Note: for Singapore and Malaysia, ride-hailing services by motorbike are not available because the regulations in those countries.
