During the last Bull Run my Mom asked me what my net assets were in crypto and how much was it worth right now and upon hearing my answer my Mom just wanted me to cash everything out as the money that I had in crypto could really set me up for quite some time. But at that moment the reply I gave to my Mom is still vivid in my mind. I said that have you ever invested in something for short-term gains cause I don't know a single guy who does that. At the moment my Mom did not get my reply but later down the road she understood what I meant.

Investments should be made with a long-term perspective especially if it's something you believe in. I can say this for a fact that almost 90 percent of people that invest in Gold, Stocks, Mutual Funds, or any other sort of Investments do it for a long-term goal and not to get short-term gains. There is a term that relates to Short Term Gain and it is known as Trading so if I want to get short-term gains I will much rather do Trading rather than Investing.

In my case, I invest 80 percent of my money in Investing and the rest of my Money I try to trade, I say I try to trade is because I am still not a seasoned trader yet. Now as for my investments in crypto I have invested for the long term and I have proven it time and time again. I invested in Litecoin way ahead and made a killing out of it thanks to me holding it throughout no matter what happened. I also made a lot of money in Dogecoin and Cardano and that has all been possible thanks to me going in for the long run.

The problem with Crypto Long term investing is that majority of the people that join in expect to get rich quickly and get the hell out of Crypto. I know this for a fact because I have friends that have tried to do so and some got huge money and there are also some friends that lost hugely on crypto. People have the perception of crypto being a get-rich-quick scheme which it is definitely not. Some of my friends complained to me as to how they lost money on crypto and I gave them the same reply as my Mom. If you are into crypto just to get rich quick then chances are you might lose money so it's better to go for the long run and let that money compound into returns.

The other thing that people need to understand is that Crypto is here to stay no matter what so why not Invest for the Long Run and see what happens. The majority of people are kind of afraid as the future of crypto is yet not clear so they just want to get in and get out quickly while the regulations are in the grey. Just try and Invest in the Long term and in small amounts so that you can even forget about it if you like I guarantee you won't lose provided you buy decent Cryptos.
