My Strategy to Accumulate Chaos Legion Packs
Splinterlands have been on the Pre Sale Stage of offering their brand new Chaos Legion Packs and the tokenomics as to how to acquire packs was pretty interesting and a tad bit complicated if I may add. But I thought why not get the packs at a discounted price than what it is actually selling for. Usually, one Chaos Legion Pack will cost 1 VOUCHER and 4 USD for the pack and since VOUCHER has been trading for approximately 20 USD the cost of buying one Chaos Legion Pack comes down to 25 USD. Yes VOUCHER can be accumulated by staking SPS and getting daily VOUCHERs but to get 1 VOUCHER per day we need to stake at least 7500 SPS roughly.
But on Hive Engine, Chaos Legion Packs are currently selling for 7 USD approximately so instead of buying VOUCHERs from Hive Engine I went ahead and just bought Chaos Legion packs directly. This way I was saving approximately 15 USD per pack and yes there was something that I was losing by doing this which was the Bonus Packs awarded every 100 Packs as well as Leaderboadr Positioning but I calculated that I wouldn't even be able to get to any Leaderboard Position so it was just better for me to get as many Packs as possible by buying Packs directly from Hive Engine.
Thanks to that I currently own roughly 150 Chaos Legion Packs which I will be opening tomorrow and see if my Luck draws in some Gold Foil Legendaries in my Collection. BTW I saved about 2700 USD approximately from this process as buying Vouchers would have cost me 3750 USD for 150 Packs while now I only paid 1050 USD for 150 Packs. I feel like I have gained here.
