These were the times when I worked at a computer accessory store and my hobby was to open up computer components and repair them. I was always fascinated by computers, whether they were hardware or software. Most of the time, I learn new topics by searching on YouTube and other online learning platforms.

MY UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER WITH A GOLD EXTRACTOR

One day, I was in the shop when one of my friends came in and asked for old RAMS and PROCESSORS, which he was willing to purchase at a reasonable price. The fact that he was requesting for defective RAM and processors puzzles me.

I questioned him why he wanted to take these RAMS and PROCESSORS that were scrap and no longer usable. He asked me to abandon these discussions and provide the items I had requested. In any case, it was in my best interests to sell my defective and useless devices at a profit.

I keep selling him for about a month and almost all of my RAMS and PROCESSORS are completed. I forced him to inform me about those useless devices one day. He eventually told me that I extract gold from these electronics, which shocked me, and for the time being I questioned why I sold him.

I was wondering why I didn't extract these golds myself, but after hearing him describe the entire process, I was able to catch my breath because I knew how difficult it was. He works as a government employee in the office and enjoys working with electronics, particularly the gold extraction process.

He showed me the safety gear he had purchased for himself because the extraction procedure really calls for extra caution. It takes a lot of work to extricate gold from RAM and processors, and too many RAMS and processors only yield a small amount of gold.

THE TIME-CONSUMING AND DANGEROUS PROCESS OF EXTRACTING GOLD FROM RAMS AND PROCESSORS

One of his major concerns was that he always required for the older modules because the older module of these devices have more gold plated. Although it is not very feasible to extract gold from these modules, some people do this work. After extraction, there is very little gold left over, and the procedure is time-consuming and extremely dangerous.

If you don't have the right clothing or accessories, it can seriously harm your health, especially your eyes. He explained to me that before disassembling the RAM modules, one must first put on protective gear. It's a lot of effort to remove the tiny gold-plated pieces one at a time with a screwdriver.

He instructed me to place the tiny gold plates covering inside the bottle half-filled with the chemical known as Aqua Regia or Phosphorus acid after cutting out the gold contacts and collecting them all. For the subsequent procedure, these chemicals separate the actual gold plates from other materials.

The following procedure, which is hazardous, uses nitric acid and HCL to purify gold. I don't think anyone should try to remove money from these gadgets because it's very dangerous and could damage your health. It is best to get in touch with every specialist who is knowledgeable about the extraction.

He only managed to take 0.05 grams of gold out of thousands of RAMS and Processors, which is not very much. He gave me a small amount of gold that was in a round shape after showing me how much he respected my appreciation for his labor of love, and I returned the favor by helping him further by gathering additional old RAMs and processors for him.

The primary goal of this post is to raise awareness about the possibility of extracting gold from processors and RAM. I hope you all enjoy the article and find it useful. Don't fail to leave feedback in the comments section if you enjoyed the post so that the next one will be even better. I want to thank you all for sticking with me.
