I am trying to be smart in my investing and put small amounts into various buckets. My main investments are: sporting on Kraken exchange, playing a few play-2-earn games and various staking.

I hope to share my best, and worst staking pools. I prefer to choose pools whose APR is over 100% but I also take other pools that can auto compound as they do not contain hidden costs after setting up. I have learned to avoid hidden costs after my initial investment into Harvest Finance. I have managed to lock my investment as the cost of gas is worth more than it.

Binance

I have been investing in various staking products but for a long time, I was using liquidity providing, which did not produce very good results. There is one product I was not afraid to invest in, and it was a mistake, as it is my best earner right now.

So currently most of my assets are invested into a loved saving for Axis. There are 3 possible lock options for 30, 60 and 90 days all giving over 100% APR. For my first month, I have earned around 10% of my 0.57 Axis invested, which is quite good.

Cake DeFi

This is my no investment staking option. All resources I put in here are from Cointiply and HoneyGains.

My strategy here is very simple I put only Bitcoin into the liquidity mining. It tends to provide over 50% of gained paid in the DFI, which can be directly invested into the staking with similar APY gain. Recently they added a new product with a very nice 400% APR, which I am sure will not stay there forever but might give some nice results for now

Pancake swap

I have started using it only after I have started playing PlantsVsUndead. I have started checking the site and found out the pool and farm options. In the end, I have converted my PVU into Cake.

I have selected the cake auto commanding pool. It does provide around 70% of gain with a nice feature of automating harvesting and reinvesting the gains. So far I like the steady 70% gain.

Lighting

It is a kind of recent thing. It all started with a not good investment into light with LP. I lost a few dollars on LP buyout and pool claims a few days later. As a result, I got a few Light which I have invested into a lighting protocol pool. Currently, as the main pool dropped from 100% to 44% I have invested in the Light-BNB LP pool and I hope it will return on the initial investment.

Kraken

This is my oldest staking site. Until recently I had a little bit of PolkaDot, Kava and Cardano, but now I put all my Polkadots into the auction, and I am not sure if this was a good investment or not.  However, I still hold around 40 Kava which gives me around 0.1 Kava every week. I find it satisfactory and because Kraken is my only way to convert crypto to Fiat I am planning to keep some low-risk low APR investment there.
