During the bear market, many investors lost a huge amount of money in fact, I can say all investors lost a certain amount of money as long as they had an asset when the bear market hit the crypto market. One person that wasn’t safe from the wave was Vitalik Buterin the co-founder of Ethereum whose portfolio is looking grim right now. If you think you lost a huge amount of money, then how much do you think he lost due to the crash.

Vitalik Buterin is obviously the co-founder of Ethereum as we all know and in his crypto wallet, it’s said that he holds up to 290,000 ETH that’s equivalent to $602.3 million currently but what do you think was the worth of those coins before the bear market and how much do you think he lost? Well, when Ethereum hit an All-Time-High of $4,000 plus, the values of those coins were worth $1.4 billion but seeing that they are worth $603. 3 million, which means he has lost $797.7 million.

So in summary he’s no longer in the billionaires club, and Ethereum itself has shrunk in market capitalization also losing billions of dollars. Vitalik Buterin when on Twitter to confirm he’s not a billionaire after defending Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos when a tweet was made concerning them that the reason that they love posting on Twitter is that they are billionaires (I think have said something similar about Elon Musk before), after defending with a Tweet, he also said he wasn’t including himself as a billionaire too.

Well, we all know it’s a matter of time before he falls back to the billionaire club and that would be when the bull market hits and when it does it’s going to be another story.
