Good morning to all my fellow lions. It’s a great Monday morning and I’m feeling rather refreshed. I had a chance to spend Sunday relaxing and taking some much needed rest. But it is back to business today.

So it looks like Bitcoin is passing the $60,000 mark. Wonderful news for all of us who have been stacking SATs. We are truly in no man’s land and it feels terrific. Frankly it’s been a long journey since 2009.

Now would I consider Bitcoin mainstream yet? Although there are some signs concerning NFT’s I truly believe we are only in the 3rd inning. Suffice it say Bitcoin has not reached that coveted “mainstream” appeal. Which leads me to believe we have a ways to go.

Many people are beginning to personally ask questions regarding Bitcoin. And they ask me because they know my history regarding blockchain. Normally many of these individuals would ignore past conversations regarding Bitcoin. However, now it appears their minds have changed.

These individuals have never purchased any blockchain currencies and I would consider them newbies. Now they have not made any money in blockchain but seeing the price moves have peaked their interest. Again, price will always be important regarding mainstream adoption.

These curious conversations has got me thinking. The average people on the street are not into Bitcoin. Frankly, they are clearly behind the curve as it pertains to blockchain tech. Many of these individuals are unaware of blockchain wallets or even how to onboard.

And that is ok. We were all newbies at one time or another. Maybe these conversations prove nothing. However, it is my contention that the average person is not fully aware of the blockchain space. This I believe will change this year.

The coming onboarding of the masses to blockchain will not be an easy task. There may be some confusion and even some miss haps. When we start talking about private keys and the various chain forks it could get chaotic. Yet, once we get passed the particulars things will get very exciting.

I mentioned to some of these individuals the ability to earn crypto on Leo. And briefly explained the appeal of the Hive ecosystem. Of course I didn’t want to make the conversation too complex. So I made every effort to simplify the details.

Overall they liked the idea of earning as opposed to investing. And this feature alone will be the biggest attractor for the Hive ecosystem. Not to mention it’s really fun. And the concept of fun is what blockchain should represent.

Many of you reading may find yourself in similar conversations in the coming year. Bitcoin may become the talk of many circles if it isn’t already. My advice is to keep it simple. Blockchain can be a really complex subject.

Yet, onboarding new users is becoming easier by the day. Not to mention more ways to earn crypto without the need for investment. Mainstream adoption is here. I hope everyone is ready.
