Thanks for dinner POBđź§
Well aside from staking my POB earnings it was time to spend a little. It was a good night for me yesterday. Coinbase approved my much anticipated debit card. And they did not disappoint.đź’µ
Of course making the transfers from Hive to Coinbase was not that difficult. Although, it would be nice to actually spend our tokens as opposed to making multiple trades. Maybe someday the Hive ecosystem will be added to Coinbase. If you look at their token offerings most of these projects create no income for people.
And that is why I continue to believe in the longevity of this platform. Crypto is not about gambling or creating chains to nowhere. It is about creating value and income for people. This is the part most of the market truly misses.
However, the market is starting to figure this out very quickly. Soon people will gravitate towards chains that produce income streams. Because why are we all participating? And this is not about getting rich quick.
Rather it is about building wealth and daily income. Real spendable cash flow that we can use to support ourselves and families. And lets be frank about the state of the legacy system; it’s tired and only serves those well connected. And the new rules are free market capitalism for us and crony capitalism for the well connected.
So lets use the free crypto market to build our token stacks. By the way setting up my Coinbase debit card was seamless. Approval was instant and adding it to Apple Pay⌚️ was easy. By dinner time I was using my POB earnings.
My orange chicken bowl never tasted so good. A real world dinner bought with POB earnings…so cool! Who says crypto has no real world application. Just proved that narrative false. 🦾
On top of that I receive 4 percent back in XLM which I thought was cool. The more you spend the more you get back. So I intend on using some of my HIVE earnings for a shopping spree. This is how crypto should be in my opinion.
Blockchain should be fun and rewarding. But to actually see these rewards translate into real world value will take some getting used to. Most are used to the job grind/paycheck routine. Buying dinner with earned crypto was priceless.
The real kicker in all of this is when you can make real world purchases with gaming token earnings. Although we aren’t quite there yet we are close. My play to earn research is netting me some interesting platforms(more in a future post). As I’ve mentioned previously gaming and virtual worlds are the new income streams for people.
This is a trend that will only accelerate as people search for cash flow. The crypto masses are usually about 8-10 month behind. So it’s always good to be ahead of the herd. Once FOMO hits we will all be buying dinners with our tokens. 🤓
