Undoubtedly, there is going to be a lot of catching up to do, considering a three day forced break. I wasn't really expecting to have that much leisure for a year fully planned for growth. Truth be told, I've never had such leisure, ever. What am I talking about you ask?

Apparently, Sunday morning, I lost my mobile device, yeah, you needed to see the look on my face when I realised I've misplaced my favourite toy on my way to church, shit, I couldn't do shit immediately so I just had to forfeit. Tracking is an option, but nah, I am way too lazy to do all that. Instead, I spent the last three days sorting out things to have a better device on set.

Turns out I'm sitting on a better operating system now as a result of bad incidents. At this period, I was hopping in onto the chain a few times to maximize my curation rewards at least, since that was the only activity I could indulge in, it's funny I got a fully functional laptop at home that does literally everything I need, but nah, I'm more mobile than desktop, so I had to get things done as soon as possible…

Cost me less than $200 to get a new device, actually better considering the system properties. We talking 6GB RAM/128GB ROM compared to the old headache of 4GB/32GB ROM. I was already running out of some damn space which got my device freezing up randomly, so glad to be out of that nightmare…

Losing a device is very normal, but what does it mean to a decentralized finance advocate? Oh shit, who is he gonna call to help freeze the account or something? Or where to click forgotten password? When he figures all his shits been at one place?

Uhhh, that sounds rough because there's a couple of ways to go around it which all lead to going down six feet… When one is building blocks alone in a site, he's got to make sure he's well equipped to do just fine because there's practically no one to help him if shits go south, this is why the idea of backing up seed phrases, mnemonic phrases, passwords, keys and all other nonsense that tend to hold the gateways to certain information should never be overlooked!

I'm still able to publish and do all the regulars because I did my backups right, and very little damage was done, and that's just my days of low activities. No crying over lost accounts and funds because these security measures were taken well into consideration!

As life can be a pack of goods that can just decide to pop open at any time and everything falls on the floor, we should always be prepared to handle the damages, which is best done when planning ahead.

Always backup your shits, the toilet eventually flushes the early morning twos
