I logged on several crypto and finance news outlets and all seemed really boring. Most articles talking about totally irrelevant stuff, a bunch of overrated charts, and a ton of data from several analysts tryna prove one point or the other about the cryptocurrency market, coin price actions, and some about specific stocks. Recently I read about China stock suffering a downtrend prior to some negative Beijing news.

But hullop, who's looking on the actual trending topics? What's up there? Are we really watching? Like we literally just OK, it's another Axie news again, or it's another splinterlands talk again?

Last time I checked, gaming was a childish shit, basically still is, because most of the world view gamers as a human class that lacks real time focus or ambition.

I was on a certain human page on Facebook and he said something, I quote ;

"Why so many universities ads on my feed? I ain't wanna go to school, bitch lemme alone"

The world has placed humans in a position of believing that if you ain't the next business tycoon, then you ain't nothing, or if you ain't a doctor, you ain't shit. But honestly, there are so many people who just wanna stay up in their attic if possible and drown in feroze with some chips to go with while playing some shit game all day, yes, they pretty much exist.

It's a thing of passion, it doesn't stop others from pursuing a more "serious" career, it just let's everyone embrace their passion.

That said, the system where humans have constantly been products of income and yet earn no incentive for it is slowly being paved away. In the past play2earn was such a popular shit talk, no game promising players money on playing turned out real, in fact, log on Google and search on games to make money off, you could still see a bunch of scams pop up, yet blockchain are aired and we ain't noticing?

I suppose everyone knows Axie Infinity in crypto space by now. But however,

Axie Infinity ( #2 on most searched)

"Axies are fierce creatures that love to battle, build, and hunt for treasure, all you gotta do is build up a collection and use them across an ever expanding universe of games! Axie Infinity uses cutting edge technology called Blockchain to reward players for their engagement. The players are said to partially control the game, you play, earn Axie, and use it to determine the future of the game."learn more

My Defi Pets (#3 on most searched)

"My DeFi Pet is a virtual pet game that combines DeFi, collectibles and your own personality. My DeFi Pet is operated on Supported Network including Binance Smart Chain and KardiaChain." basically a you gotta do is collect, breed, evolve, enjoy the seasons and event, battle and tradelearn more

Smooth Love Potion (#4 on most searched)

One out of Axie Infinity, so basically Axie Infinity has got two of its tokens on trending.

"Smooth Love Potion (SLP) is a gaming token developed by Axie Edge. The token is based on the ETH network and has successfully breached both the gaming world and the DeFi space through its availability on the Uniswap liquidity pool. Though not a complex gaming token, it is used for interesting reasons. Majorly, it serves as the primary cryptocurrency for breeding pet creatures while playing Axie Infinity. It can also be purchased and traded on Uniswap."learn more

Cryptoblades (#1 on most searched)

Well, this has gotta be the juiciest as though it ranked at #1 on trending coins via coingecko.

"CRYPTOBLADES is an NFT-based RPG on the Binance Smart Chain. In it, you hire heroes to battle for you and defeat enemies to earn SKILL tokens. Use the tokens to mint characters, craft weapons and further improve your characters. As you get more powerful you will be able to earn more SKILL"learn more

There's more to Skill than it's utility in the game, you can however stake skill and earn more cryptocurrency.

Wall Street Games (#5 on most search)

Make way guys cause here comes our shitcoin, probably potential enough to outlive its title of being a shitcoin? Time will tell obviously. WSG was airdropped to a couple of addresses, I'm not quite sure what procedures were in place, but fortunately I got a few 500k WSG (dust dust dust) not knowing how the heck, and I was like, OK, stay there in my wallet till you're worth something.

"Wall Street Games is a next generation hybrid blockchain-based online gaming platform, where players battle each other in fun & addicting simple games for rewards in cryptocurrencies."learn a little more

Simple, but how the heck it's trending and seeing some green candles is a story for another day.

To conclude, it is incredibly stunning how crypto and blockchain technology is revolutionizing the world at large. It's moving in different sectors, giving value to every bit of invention. It turns out projects weren't viral not because their ideas weren't nice enough, but they only ran on a finance model which was corrupt, but hey, it's 2021, and the story is gradually changing. Very few realize it and how early it is to adopt the new system before it totally goes boom…
