Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Bucharest Zoo - Indian Python (Python molurus) - Romania 1964 - Michel Romania 2330 - my hobby.

If you like to watch fantastic movies about jumping in time and space, you know that sometimes, these jumpers get out of the control of a person, they can be too long, or too short.

Not always, you may end up where you planned to be, and there is a certain amount of adventurism in that, lol.

My story about postage stamps is similar to such leaps in time and space.

Postage stamps are fun, interesting, educational and, sometimes, very profitable when it comes to the financial side of the issue.

Each financial document has its own value, and postage stamps are money that does not disappear after the countries and their rulers disappearing from the face of the planet.

Today, our leap in time brought me to a country that has always been in close proximity to my homeland - Moldova.

This country is called Romania.

There are a number of eternal disputes between Moldova and Romania about what appeared first - an egg, or a chicken.

What should be called the language, Moldavian, or Romanian?

Where was Vlad Tsepish born and ruled, aka Graff Dracula?

But, Moldovans give primacy to Romanian vampires, lol.

These disputes do not create anything in countries that have a similar culture, language, cuisine, traditions, history, which begins with the tribes of the Getae and Dacians.

Personally, I have only one reason to dislike Romania, and this reason does not apply to the country and the peoples, it refers to the geological structure of our planet, to its faults.

The Vrancea Zone, which is in southern Romania, introduced me to tremors over seven on the Richter scale, four unforgettable days from 1976 to 1990 when I woke up after every lightning strike and was about to run out of the house, lol.

Romania is a beautiful and very colorful country where you can have a good time, learn a lot and see a lot.

I've always wanted to visit the Bucharest Zoological Park, but it didn't work out.

But thanks to the Series Bucharest Zoo postage stamps issued in 1964 in Romania, I can make such a journey without leaving home.

Guys, this was the time when you could not find what interests you using the Internet, it was not.

Then, people visited libraries, bought encyclopedias and reference books on various topics, if they wanted to broaden their horizons.

The complete series of postage stamps Bucharest Zoo consists of eight postage stamps, but so far there are only three postage stamps in my collection and I have to add to my collection.

All postage stamps in this series were issued in a circulation of half a million copies, this is a small circulation comparable to the population of a small town, each inhabitant of which could send a letter in an envelope eight times, sticking a postage stamp on it.

But this is not entirely accurate mathematics, because the denomination of the postage stamps is different and, sometimes, you would have to stick several postage stamps on the envelope.

The first postage stamp from this series, according to the classification of the rolled Michel, received a denomination of 5 Romanian ban, it shows a magnificent one - Indian Python (Python molurus).

Of course, it is better to see him while at the zoo, but sometimes even a small opportunity in the form of a postage stamp can bring the joy of learning.

Pay attention to the face value of the postage stamp. If, one day, you decide to go on a journey to Romania, or to Moldova, then be aware that the monetary units of these countries bear the same name.

Lei Romanian and Moldavian, and their hundredths called ban. The cost of these monetary units is very different and you can miscalculate your budget if you make a mistake.
