Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Hungarian Goldsmiths' Art - Nádasdy goblet, 16th century - Hungary 1970 - Michel Hungary 2627A - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Hungary, 16th century, this is where we ended up thanks to another series Hungarian Goldsmiths' Art postage stamp issued in Hungary in 1970.

On this postage stamp, we see a gold Nádasdy goblet, 16th century.

This cup belonged to a very noble Hungarian dynasty Nádasdy.

Unfortunately, in order to find out the whole history of this cup, you need to visit the archives of Hungarian libraries, but I cannot do this.

So far, for me it remains a mystery, the events in honor of which this precious vessel was made.

A postage stamp with a face value of 1 Ft - Hungarian forint shows us its splendor.
