Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Palekh Art Miniatures - The Firebird, A.V. Kotukhin (1930) - USSR, Soviet Union 1976 - Michel USSR 4523 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

My now deceased grandfather, whom I loved very much, was an excellent storyteller of fairy tales that he himself composed.

He used to say that a book with no pictures is a bad book, lol. In a way, he was right. Indeed, in fact, when a person is creative, this creativity overflows, he wants to see his invented heroes.

At the same time, my grandfather had a three-grade education. This did not prevent him from being an educated and well-read man, a successful officer and a man with golden hands who could turn a twisted car, crushed like a tin can into a new, iron horse.

Palekh miniatures that we see on postage stamps from Series Palekh Art Miniatures perfectly illustrate many folk tales, even if there are no pictures in the book, you can look at the postage stamp and see how the artists who created these masterpieces saw the characters.

On the next postage stamp with a face value of 12 kopecks of the USSR, we see a miniature called - The Firebird, A.V. Kotukhin (1930).

This bird looks like the mythical bird Phoenix, but it is a different, fabulous character with its own, unique options for producing miracles that bring happiness to the owners of the feather of this bird.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
