Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Posthorn - Posthorn - Norway 1969 - Michel Norway 479y - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Yesterday, our postal cruise ship made a stopover on the Scandinavian Peninsula and we took a walk in Finland.

I do not want to rush to leave Scandinavia, I am interested in what is happening in Norway, neighboring Finland.

So today I want to present a postage stamp of the Kingdom of Norway issued in 1969.

The postage bugle depicted on a postage stamp is a very popular image for Norwegian postage stamps.

It was not easy for me to identify this postage stamp.

The fact is that very similar postage stamps began to be printed back in the nineteenth century, and I had to go through every year to understand which era this particular postage stamp belongs to.

A circulation of 130 million copies means that the inhabitants of Norway are very sociable, but they prefer to write letters to each other, keeping their distance from each other, lol.

This is a joke, but I was very surprised by this large circulation.

This, immediately, reminds me of garbage coins that are circulating in billions and there is no use from them.

But, people buy them.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

Description of the postage stamp:

Type: Postage Stamp. Country: Norway. Subject: #coat, #arms, #lion, # Finland. Series: Posthorn. Name: Posthorn. Denomination of a postage stamp: 10 Norwegian øre. Michel's Norway catalog code: 479y.
Episode release date:January 23,1969. Perforation: comb12¾ x 13¼. Postage stamp size: 20 x 24 mm. Printing technology: Recess. Circulation: 129,918,108. Estimated price for a clean postage stamp: $ 0.15 - $ 0.20. Estimated price for a canceled postage stamp: $ 0.02 - $ 0.12. Photo: original from @barski collection.
