Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Protected Animals - Cuban Treefrog (Osteopilus septentrionalis) - Cuba 1984 - Michel Cuba 2889 - my hobby.

*Greetings friends!

*Today there is a reason to have fun on our journey around the world of postage stamps, because we will see another postage stamp from a very strange series of postage stamps called Protected Animals, issued on the island of Cuba in 1984.

*As the Latin says, inscribed on the surface of the postage stamp, in front of us is the Cuban Treefrog (Osteopilus septentrionalis).

*This is a controversial issue, because the artist, apparently, very much doubted that he was drawing a frog, apparently, he began to draw a rabbit, but it turned out to be a frog.

*Many people consider frogs to be disgusting creatures that are unpleasant to touch, and this frog, more precisely, its image on a postage stamp, shows us the most disgusting frog in the world, and this creature will have to go to the USSR, lol.

*Someone, but Russians know a lot about frogs, they are ready to kiss them on the lips, because from early childhood they are told tales that there is a chance that after a kiss, the frog will turn into a beautiful princess.

*This picture can discourage kissing frogs even for those who are not particularly perky lol.

*I would have handed over this image for scrap, would have torn it into small pieces and burned it at the stake, but the Cuban authorities thought differently and spent the forms of strict accountability on printing this postage stamp.

*Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone. For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
