Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Song Birds - White-browed Tit-warbler (Leptopoecile sophiae) - Soviet Union 1981 - Michel's USSR 5103 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Songbirds are wonderful creatures that delight our ears.

In my house there was a singing kenor who sang every time someone turned on the TV. He did not agree that something, or someone, could sound louder than him.

But, even going out into the street, you can hear the trills of various birds. Even an ordinary big tit sings great when it feels good lol.

Today, I want to present to you a series of postage stamps called Song Birds, issued in the Soviet Union on August 20, 1981.

Sometimes it is very convenient to own postage stamps to identify the species of birds. In those days, you could not determine the view from a photograph by uploading it to Google Image Search.

No, if you wanted to know the nature around you, you used encyclopedic guides, and, due to the fact that on financial documents called a postage stamp, plants and animals were often depicted with the name in Latin, you could use postage stamps such as reference manuals.

On the first postage stamp, which received the face value of 6 kopecks of the USSR, we see a songbird - White-browed Tit-warbler (Leptopoecile sophiae).

Frankly, I have never seen this titmouse in nature, perhaps somewhere, in another part of the USSR, they were found.

This postage stamp has received 8,400,000 copies in galleries.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
