Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Turtles - Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle (Lepidochelys kempii) - Cuba 1983 - Michel Cuba 2767 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Today, a series of Turtles stamps issued on the island of Cuba in 1983 introduces us to yet another species of sea turtles. whose habitat is very limited.

On a postage stamp with a face value of 2 Cuban centavos, we see a turtle called - Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle (Lepidochelys kempii).

It seems that these turtles have built an invisible barrier for themselves and are limited to the territory of the Gulf of Mexico.

The entire Atlantic Ocean is open to them, but they are content with little, the coastal zone of Florida is enough for them.

This is a modest turtle, not only in character, it has no ambitions to explore new territories, but also in size. It is considered the smallest species of sea turtles.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
