Monthly Progress Report May

My monthly progress reports serve a couple of purposes:

  • The first one, and primary reason for doing them, is that it allows me to see where I have been, where I am going, and where I am falling short in my personal goals.

  • The second purpose they serve is to let people, new accounts and old, see an honest representation of an account built from scratch and not really knowing anything at all about cryptocurrency.

Monthly Charts and Tables

The Monthly Progress Report Table:

A pretty steady Month for me earnings wise. The current HP total line is how much for the year my Account has grown. So far just over 830. I am hoping to be at or very close to 10,000 HP by years end, so I may need to try and earn a little bit more by using Hive-Engine tokens. I am about 1465 HP away from that 10,000.

The Earnings Pie Chart:

I have been exploring my spreadsheet program a little bit more. I want to try and build more professional type charts, and have a little bit more fun with them. A reminder that the HBD has been converted to what the HIVE equivalent would be today, so that I am looking at oranges and oranges not apricots and apples.

Pretty steady climb,no flat lining yet, and more importantly no dips. A pretty boring looking chart in many respects but it is what is not there that makes it interesting and useful.

I had a pretty nice chatty type of month, Some weekend engagement, some HF testing engagement, and just my normal engagement. The replies are somewhat skewered as I have of late been getting some ENGAGE, BEER, PIZZA, LUV and other H-E bot tokens. I don't mind these ones as they are all just 3 or 4 lines of text and no real giant big GIF's making it hard for people to see the real comments.

I did try to put out a few more post this month, a lot of the extra effort was from the Collections Post concept that the good folks at PeakD came up with.

Needless to say I like the option. Sometimes I want to re-hear a tune from a Hive Musician, but it is very difficult to re-find tunes at times. The collections option now means I can build my self music playlist.

As you can see I have been holding pretty steady between the 100 and 120 mark. I hope I can sustain this level, but things happen. I try to get at least ten comments a day out but even that is iffy at times as you can see below.

Four days below ten, and three days right on ten. On the other hand I had four very chatty comment days.

The Deceptive Chart: This is the chart that I like seeing the low numbers in. the broken line gap was the first week since joining the Curation and Engagement League that I did not make it into the top 100,just a bad couple of weeks there. I have been pretty fortunate this month in that I made the top 20 for four weeks in a row.

Conclusion and side notes:

Over-all it was a very productive month for me, one of the best so far this year.

As mentioned above I do hope to make it to 10,000 HP by years end and I think I will be pretty close to that number barring any unfortunate set backs.

I have re-energized my efforts to work with and learn my spreadsheet functions a bit better. I am trying to find a more professional look to my charts while maintaining a since of personalization on them, so they do not look to cookie-cutterish, but also to where they are not running a wide gambit of option.

I like the full picture background look, and I think the Sky and the the mountain river worked well. The Daily Comments one with the image just inside the chart I am not sure about, I do know that I should have stayed more with the Sky and Mountain set, throwing in a winter scene just seems odd.

The slightly transparent look on the "Deceptive Chart" I am also not happy with. Hopefully you will provide some feedback and I can further refine my post and charts for next month.
